Meet the speaker

Natalie Campbell

Natalie Campbell is an award-winning social entrepreneur and broadcaster. She is the Co-CEO of ethical water brand Belu Water, the former Director of Insight and Innovation at The Royal Foundation, and she founded a global social innovation agency A Very Good Company (AVGC). She is a proud disruptor of ‘business as usual’ and challenges clients to put purpose, sustainability, and inclusion at
the heart of their work.

Natalie founded A Very Good Company with the single mission to create a world where people 'feel good, do good and live better'. Working with brands including Virgin Media, Marks and Spencer, W Hotels, The Guardian, and Channel 4, she helped them improve their community investment, supply chain and social responsibility strategies. At The Royal Foundation she helped give new perspectives to the Patrons and lead the set-up and governance of a new charitable entity for Sussex Royal. Natalie joined Belu Water just before the global pandemic hit and found herself faced with new challenges. She implemented a focus on purpose, people, product, and profit, asking her team to explore the ‘what ifs’ within these frameworks to ensure that the company was working at its best.

With a personal mission to create a world where people can do good and live better, her career is defined by her ability to always see possibility and to change the unchangeable. She is a strong believer that in order to look forward, you have to step back and reconsider how to do things - whether that’s examining the narrative of what successful leadership looks like or reconsidering what your
responsibilities are as a business in the 21st century.

Outside of her role at Belu Water, she is a board member of the National Lottery Communities Fund (Big Lottery Fund), OPDC, and LEAP, the economic action partnership for the Mayor of London. As a non-executive director, she also chaired the Nominet Trust (the largest social tech funder in the UK) and was on the board of UnLtd, the Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs. She also hosted the radio show Badass Women's Hour on talkRADIO, questioned the followership/leadership paradox for Radio 4, and explored the dark side of tech on the Virgin Future Visions podcast.

Natalie is a strategic board advisor to Stonehage Fleming Wealth and Fintech app Percent. She holds several public appointments and non-executive positions related to talent, leadership, and inclusive economic growth. She was also a Civil Service Commissioner. As part of her role, she ensured recruitments to the Civil Service were based on merit after fair and open competition, and she helped promote the Civil Service values of honesty, integrity, objectivity, and impartiality. Natalie has been called one of Management Today's 35 Women under 35 and was recognised in City AM's Power 100 Women lists
