Experiential excursions are back for 2023!
Based on feedback from last year’s event and our member conference steering group, the experiential excursions are back for 2023 by popular demand. All delegates will have the chance to take part in an excursion on the afternoon of Sunday 21 May as part of the conference itinerary. Spaces on each activity are limited and will be given on a first come first served basis and if you do not make a selection, a place will be allocated for you. The booking system is now live so please take a look below and pick which amazing experience you want to take part in when you visit in May!

Active excursions
Electric Bike Tour
Discover Benidorm on an electric bike. Easy and comfortable, this sustainable and ecological form of transport is great fun to ride! You will be invited to try a guided route, suitable for all fitness levels with varying durations, routes, and difficulty levels. On the route, you will be able to explore Benidorm and discover the different coves hidden in the Nature Park of Sierra Helada in Benidorm.

Experience the thrill of an inland Jeep tour
Experience fun and adventure driving through the beautiful, rough, and green countryside. You will be picked up at the conference hotel by a professional driver with a comfortable 8-passenger seated all-terrain vehicle. Once you set off for your thrilling ride offroad you will discover the spectacular Costa Blanca mountain ranges and stunning viewing points.

Discover Scuba Diving
Delve into the underwater world of the Benidorm coastline by taking part in a scuba diving experience. You will be in the hands of our PADI professionals who will provide all the equipment in a relaxed and safe environment for you to learn the basics of diving. You will be shown how to use a mask, vest, regulator, and pressure gauge before we explore our surroundings – we can promise you a very fun and dynamic afternoon!

Take part in a Go Karting Championship
Speed and adrenaline will be the focal point of the afternoon if you choose to take part in this fun activity. Anyone who takes part in this go-karting experience will be invited to show off their driving skills to compete for a position on the podium!

Enjoy a relaxing kayak tour
During kayaking in Benidorm, you will have to opportunity to escape the crowded beaches and discover some hidden places. You will pass the iconic Levante beach where you can enjoy the spectacular skyline and discover the creeks of Tio Ximo and Almadrava and the path of Punta del Caballo inside the Nature Park of Sierra Helada.

Sightseeing and cultural excursions
Enjoy a catamaran tour
Step onboard this giant catamaran which literally flies across the sea with its 120 square meters of sail. On this excursion, you will set sail from the harbour of Altea and will enjoy breathtaking views of the old town, the church, and the beautiful mountains of Sierra Bernia, Ferrer, and Aixortá in the distance. You will also discover the Nature Park of Sierra Helada and enjoy the stunning views of the Benidorm Skyline.

Benidorm Old Town walking tour
Discover the history of Benidorm by joining a walking tour of the Old Town. A tour guide will share tales of the Mediterranean Capital of sun and beach with you. This tour will finish with a drink in a rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the skyline.

Visit El Castell de Guadalest – walking tour
El Castell de Guadalest is known as one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, set among the mountains in the Costa Blanca region. During this excursion, you will walk through the village and visit the old town, the Grand House museum (Casa Orduña), and walk up to a stunning castle on a hill. There will be time to stop for coffee, pastries, and maybe even a glass of wine in the town. You can find out more about the town here.

Visit Altea – walking tour
Altea is known as the most picturesque town in Spain and is a stunning place to enjoy a leisurely stroll. During the afternoon’s walking tour, you will explore the town and then will visit Altea la Vella, a small borough next to Altea, where you will taste local typical dishes. Paella cooking experience
Take part in this culinary experience and learn how to cook traditional paella. This culinary competition will give you the chance to learn the key steps and put your cooking skills into practice. You will need to work together in order to successfully recreate one of the most important dishes in Valencian cuisine. And in case you were wondering – at the end of the activity you will be able to sample your delicious creation!
