Simon McNamara is IATA’s Area Manager for the United Kingdom & Ireland leading its local activities in the area and supporting the wider IATA team in its work to represent the airline industry and members. Previous to his current role he was Director of Communications at Flybe and formerly Director General of the European Regions Airline Association.

A graduate of City University, London, in Aeronautical Engineering, Simon also holds an MSc from Cranfield University in the UK in Air Transport Management.
