As the 2018 conference in Miami came to a close, Advantage Travel Partnership’s newly appointed CEO Julia Lo Bue-Said, announced the consortia will be heading to the Andalucia province of Cadiz, in southwest Spain in 2019, 17 – 20 May 2019.
The conference sessions will be held at the 4 star Valentin Sancti Petri Hotel & Convention Centre, the largest event space in the Cadiz region. The colonial-style complex is located in an idyllic setting leading down to the spectacular Playa de la Barrosa beach. The conference centre’s various meeting rooms will host leisure and business travel members for the main speaker sessions, seminars and speed dating, with lots of outdoor space available for sunny coffee breaks.
Advantage Conference guests will be staying in a number of 4 star & 5 star hotels located on the stunning beachfront of Sancti Petri all within walking distance of the Valentin.
On behalf of Andalucía Tourism and Cadiz Tourist Board, UK Director of the Spanish Tourist Office, Javier Piñanes commented: “We are delighted to be hosting the Advantage Travel Partnership Conference in Cadiz next year. Sancti Petri, is an upmarket coastal resort within the province of Cadiz, Andalucia, is among some of the oldest settlements in Europe and one of Spain’s most attractive regions. Boasting an incredible historic centre and culture, those who visit always enjoy the great gastronomy and authentic Spanish atmosphere.”
Chief Executive Officer, Julia Lo Bue-Said said: “As the Advantage Conference is a yearly event in many members’ calendars we chose Sancti Petri, Cadiz, as the 2019 venue because it offers a juxtaposed experience to Miami.
“Cadiz is historical, traditional and a wonderfully European destination. The nearest airport is Jerez with a direct daily flight from Stansted airport and a forty-minute transfer time. Delegates can also fly direct to Seville or Gibraltar.
“Miami has been a resounding success and we look forward to welcoming Advantage members in Cadiz!”
